Finalists Announced For 9th Annual M&A Advisor Awards
Winners to Be Revealed at Awards Gala Dec. 14th in New York City
NEW YORK, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The M&A Advisor has announced 234 finalists in 47 categories for its 9th Annual M&A Awards. The finalists will now be judged by an independent panel and the award recipients will be announced at the 9th Annual M&A Awards Gala and Summit at the New York Athletic Club in New York City on December 14, 2010.

This year's finalists represent a number of leading firms, including Sun Capital Partners; Cadwalader, JP Morgan Securities; Skadden, Arps; William Blair; Bank of America Merrill Lynch; Houlihan Lokey, KKR and Catterton Partners and several significant transactions such as the Sale of Volvo Car Corporation; the Acquisition of BJ Services by Baker Hughes; and the Acquisition of Marvel Entertainment, Inc. by The Walt Disney Company. To qualify, the Finalists' transactions had to close between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2010 and be over $10 million in transaction value.
The 9th Annual M&A Advisor Awards and Summit is the original and premiere event bringing together over 400 of the leading M&A dealmakers, deal team members and key service providers in an exclusive gathering. The Summit will feature the industry's leading M&A professionals including industry stalwarts Wilbur L. Ross, Robert "Steve" Miller, John Castle, John Borer, Marshall Sonenshine and John "Jack" Butler keynoting and participating in exclusive interactive forums.
