Final Super 7 Jackpot of $4.8 Million Rolls Down to Lower-Tier Winners
MIDDLETOWN, Pa., April 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- For the final drawing of the Pennsylvania Lottery's Super 7 game, no one matched seven of 11 winning numbers, which means that those winners who matched six, five or four of the winning numbers will share in the game's final jackpot of $4.8 million cash.
Seventeen players who won Super 7's second prize by matching six numbers each won a prize of $82,032. There were 460 third-prize winners who matched five numbers and each won $4,925. There were 6,898 fourth-prize winners who matched four numbers and each won $250. For the 53,835 players who matched three numbers, the prize is $2.
Super 7 had five jackpot winners since it debuted on March 11, 2009. The largest Super 7 jackpot, an $8.26 million annuity, was won by a Lancaster County man from the May 29, 2009, drawing.
During its 13-month run, Super 7 created nearly 1.9 million winning experiences for players and paid more than $34.5 million in prizes.
A jackpot-winning ticket worth $775,000 cash from the Dec. 4, 2009, drawing has yet to be claimed. The winning ticket was sold in Marietta, Lancaster County. Super 7 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
