FileMaker releases "FileMaker Training Series for FileMaker 14"
Self-paced training materials get beginners started for free, and helps advanced users unlock the full capabilities of the FileMaker Platform
SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- FileMaker, Inc. today announced the immediate availability of the FileMaker Training Series for FileMaker 14, in-depth training materials that help anyone create FileMaker solutions that run on iPad, iPhone, Windows, Mac and the web. The free FileMaker Training Series: Basics for FileMaker 14 is targeted at beginners, while the low-cost FileMaker Training Series: Advanced for FileMaker 14 offer intermediate to advanced users instruction to build compelling customized business solutions using the newest version of FileMaker, including exercises and downloadable activity files.
FileMaker Training Series: Basics for FileMaker 14 (FTS: Basics) focuses on the features and benefits of the FileMaker Platform with special attention to the newest version, FileMaker 14. Students will learn how to build a sample FileMaker solution from start to finish. FTS: Basics is available for free on the FileMaker web site (pdf format) and the iBooks Store. It is available in English now and will be available in the following languages on June 30, 2015: French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Dutch.

FTS: Advanced is targeted at intermediate to advanced developers, but anyone who creates solutions with the FileMaker Platform can increase their knowledge from these time-tested materials. This series is a key resource for becoming a FileMaker Certified Developer.
FTS: Advanced will be available to FileMaker Developer Subscribers (FDS) as part of their subscription ($99 USD subscription fee). It is also available for purchase for $19.99 USD on the FileMaker web store (pdf format) and from the iBooks Store both with downloadable activity files and videos. French, German and Japanese versions will be available on July 28, 2015.
