Highest-Ranked CWM/VMS Functionality
The report examined contingent and SOW/project capabilities independently. Fieldglass' VMS ranked highest in current offering CWM/VMS functionality, reporting and return on investment (ROI), with the report calling Fieldglass' overall capabilities in contingent staffing and SOW/project "very strong."
In particular Forrester noted that Fieldglass' "deep commitment to rate benchmarking and process benchmarking will make it a good fit for customers looking for more rigorous tracking of ROI from their contingent labor/services procurement efforts."
Widest Global Adoption Evaluated
The research firm also found Fieldglass to be the largest and most geographically adopted solution evaluated in The Forrester Wave, with customers in 101 countries. Fieldglass has found that many global organizations choose their VMS due to its depth of knowledge around unique and complex worker requirements across parts of Europe and Asia and its implementation experience.
The research report ranked VMS providers based on an evaluation of 85 criteria and customer references as a means to help buyers select the right partner for their contingent workforce and SOW/services procurement software needs. Forrester found in its customer interviews that customers want a "VMS to be excellent in both contingent and SOW/project capabilities."
"The needs of the VMS buyer have evolved and matured in the last 18 months in particular, making it more important than ever to seek out the best long-term technology partner," said Jai Shekhawat, CEO, Fieldglass. "Vendor evaluations like The Forrester Wave allow prospective buyers to assess the VMS landscape and recognize key distinctions between providers in terms of both current product capabilities and future strategic direction."
