Field Agent Unveils Back-to-School Resource Center
Resources to prepare for BTS shoppers. All in one place.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., July 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Field Agent, the pioneer in mobile audits and research, this week unveiled a collection of resources aimed at equipping brands and retailers for the approaching back-to-school season. Dubbed "The Back-to-School Locker," this online resource center offers a wealth of back-to-school information all in a single location.
Retailers and CPG companies are already busily preparing for the upcoming back-to-school and back-to-college season. To win BTS shoppers, many of these companies will be in search of information and insights offering a clear view of customers' needs, habits, and expectations.
The BTS Locker simplifies this search by assembling a variety of resources on BTS shopping and retail execution—all in one place. This information center showcases original research based on surveys with over 1,500 moms of K-12 students and over 500 college students.
"Back-to-school is a critical event for many retailers and brands," said Rick West, co-founder and CEO of Field Agent. "BTS is also a busy time for us, when we partner with companies to develop and refine their retail strategy and execution. We know that our new Back-to-School Locker will be the go-to place for companies as they prepare for BTS shoppers, and further demonstrate our commitment to helping companies succeed during this important retail season."
Field Agent's third annual back-to-school report headlines The BTS Locker. Over 500 moms of K-12 students were asked about their retailer preferences, shopping behavior, purchase influences, and BTS frustrations. This survey culminated in the 2016 Back-to-School Report, which can now be downloaded from the online resource center.
Also included in the full 2016 BTS Report is a bonus section specifically focused on students headed back to college. Field Agent's survey of 500 college students ages 18-24 provides fresh insight into student's preferred retailers for school supplies, attire, fast food, alcohol, and even bedding materials as well as additional insights into BTC shoppers.
Back-to-school, however, isn't only about pencils and notebooks. The BTS Locker also offers original research on the "student body," providing insights on BTS attire, makeup, and hygiene purchases.
The BTS Locker also shares a seven-question "study guide" to help companies make the grade with BTS shoppers. Including information on out-of-stocks, display compliance, price checks, and in-store marketing, this guide presents solutions to costly retail oversights that commonly hinder companies during the BTS season.
Companies can instantly monitor in-store conditions during the BTS season on Field Agent's newly redesigned reporting dashboard. Both navigation and system improvements create a faster, more intuitive experience. In addition, downloading and sharing results with colleagues has been streamlined. Users also now have the ability to hone in on a single store to view all photos from that location, thus giving them a complete, real-time look at individual sites.
