Fidus celebrates 10 years in the Electronic Design Services Industry

OTTAWA, Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - Fidus Systems Inc. is celebrating 10 years as a leader in electronic product development, staff augmentation, and consulting services.

Founded in late 2001 by company President and CEO Michael Wakim, Fidus has expanded beyond Ottawa's borders to include design centers in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont., and Milpitas, Calif., while continuing to grow at its headquarters in Canada's capital region.

"It's incredible to be celebrating 10 years in the electronic design services industry," said Wakim, "When I started Fidus, the world was facing a tech crisis and, like everyone, I too was unsure of the future. I really believed though that an electronic design services company, staffed with excellent people that could deliver creative, robust designs to customers, could still be successful."
