STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, Dec. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- For the fourth year in a row, Fidato Wealth announced their involvement with the "Adopt-a-Family for Christmas" program, joining with clients and friends to collect gifts for a local family this holiday season. As in past years, there will be more families seeking help for the holiday program than the organization has support, which means not all families who apply will be adopted. In addition to inviting the community at large to participate in Fidato Wealth's gift-and-supplies drive for one deserving family, the company is urging individuals and families who are financially able to take another step forward and adopt a family of their own.
MAKING A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITY
"Our first mission is to make a positive difference in our client's lives by helping them achieve their financial goals and aspirations. Additionally, we seek to make a positive difference in our community whenever possible," says Tony D'Amico, CFP®, CEO and Senior Wealth Advisor at Fidato Wealth. "This year, we have once again teamed up with The Adopt-A-Family Association of Parma to collect items in an effort to provide a local family with a very special holiday season. Adopt-a-Family Association provides an incredible opportunity to positively impact our clients, as well as our community. It's a natural step to invite the community as a whole to participate along with our firm and our clients."
SINGLE MOM WITH THREE YOUNG CHILDREN
This year Fidato Wealth has adopted a family with a single mother with three young children, aged eight, four and two. "The mom is working full time, but having a hard time making ends meet and just needs a little help to make this a very special Christmas for her children," says D'Amico. "We invite the entire Northeast Ohio community to join in with our clients in donating gifts and essential supplies to be delivered to this and other deserving families in need this Christmas season."
ADOPT-A-FAMILY SEEKS YEAR-ROUND ASSISTANCE
The Adopt-a-Family Association was created to provide not only holiday support to low income, unemployed families and those who are disabled in Cuyahoga County, but also as a short-term safety net and caring support to Greater Cleveland/Parma area families in crisis who are working to maintain a stable home environment for their children as they overcome traumatic socioeconomic circumstances. As in the past three years, Fidato Wealth clients and friends have pledged to donate and deliver gifts to one deserving family this December.
"In 2016, with the partnership of local businesses, the Adopt-a-Family Association was able to help over 300 local families in Cuyahoga and surrounding counties along with families outside of the state of Ohio, including nearly 1000 children, by providing a meaningful holiday experience. This also includes families that were invited to our Families Helping Families party with the support of Dollar Bank customers and our partnership with Dollar Bank and WKYC channel 3," says Madeline Medley, Executive Director/Founder of Adopt-a-Family Association. "Every year we have more families seeking help for the holiday program than we have support, which means not all families who apply will be adopted. We're happy to team up with Fidato Wealth in their fourth year of sponsorship and look forward to working with them again this year, as we continue to add more deserving families to the program."
PROVIDING MEANINGFUL SUPPORT TO THE COMMUNITY
"We love this time of year, when we can partner with our clients to give back to the community in a meaningful way to a family served by The Adopt-a-Family program," says Amy D'Amico, President and Senior Wealth Advisor at Fidato Wealth. "We are humbled that our client families have opened their hearts and are signing up for clothing, toys and other supplies to give this small family that extra bit of help they need this season." Please use this link for a list of gift items available or email [email protected] of your desire to help this family.
Wrapped gifts will be accepted through Friday, December 15th 2017 from 9am-5pm at Fidato Wealth: 10749 Pearl Road, Suite 1B in Strongsville, Ohio.
