FGM, Inc. Wins Two C4I Contracts Worth $57M
FGM TO PROVIDE U.S. NAVY WITH APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND SYSTEMS ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR C4I SYSTEMS
RESTON, Va., May 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) has awarded FGM a $16M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, (IDIQ) cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) systems engineering support to include command and intelligence systems analysis, concept definition, interface requirements, and system development and design for implementation, integration, interoperability, documentation, upgrades, and training. This three-year contract includes one two-year option, which, if exercised, would bring the potential value of this contract to $28M. Work will be performed in San Diego, CA, and Reston, VA, and is expected to be completed by May 10, 2015.
Earlier this month, SPAWAR also awarded FGM a $17M contract to provide the U.S. Navy with application development expertise and software engineering support for current and new C4I systems. This five-year contract includes renewal options that could raise the potential value of this contract to $29M. As an existing incumbent on the C4I Software Applications and Databases contract, FGM has been supporting mission critical programs with SSC Pacific for over 20 years providing system and software engineering services in design, upgrades, as well as interface engineering, implementation and proof of concept, integration, test, installation, security, documentation, and training.
"We are excited to continue our long history of providing innovative and leading edge technologies in support of mission critical C4I systems. Our ability to directly impact the mission needs of the warfighter is greatly enhanced with the award of both the C4I Systems Engineering and C4I Software Engineering contracts," said Scott Gessay, President of FGM, Inc., a Novetta Solutions Company.
