More than $5 Million in Prizes Awaiting 6,000 Winners
MIDDLETOWN, Pa., July 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Fewer than 25,000 tickets remain for the July 10 Pennsylvania Lottery Millionaire Raffle that will award 6,000 prizes totaling $5,089,200 – including four $1 million top prizes and four $100,000 prizes.
"When all 500,000 tickets are sold, no more tickets will be available for purchase," said Lottery Executive Director Ed Trees. "Since our first Millionaire Raffle in 2005, we have awarded more than $50 million in prizes and we are looking forward to adding to that total."
As of just before noon on July 9, only 24,960 Millionaire Raffle tickets remained. Sales of the $20 Millionaire Raffle tickets will continue until 5 p.m. on July 10 or until all 500,000 tickets are sold, whichever comes first. Tickets for the nine previous Millionaire Raffles sold out before the drawing.
The winning raffle ticket numbers will be randomly selected at 6:59 p.m. on July 10, when the Lottery's live drawing show will televise the selection of the four $1 million raffle ticket numbers and the four $100,000 raffle ticket numbers. The selection of the remaining 5,992 winning ticket numbers will not be televised live due to time constraints.
For a complete list of winning numbers, players may check the Lottery's website at www.palottery.com on July 11.
Lottery officials remind Millionaire Raffle players to sign the back of each ticket and keep it in a safe place until the drawing.
Odds of winning a top or second-tier prize are 1-in-125,000 each; odds of winning a $1,000 prize are 1-in-5,000; and the odds of winning $100 are about 1-in-85.
