Patients May Forfeit FSA Funds If They Are Not Spent by End of Year
FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- For the remainder of 2011, the Genetics & IVF Institute (GIVF) will match up to $5,000 of the amount new patients are reimbursed from their flexible spending accounts (FSA) for infertility treatment. For patients who sign a Multicycle IVF or Donor Egg IVF contract, GIVF will match the reimbursed amount dollar for dollar.

For patients who choose a single cycle IVF (in vitro fertilization) or Donor Egg IVF contract, GIVF will match 25% for each dollar reimbursed. This special offer is applicable to new contracts signed after September 14, 2011 and is not applicable to The Delivery Promise.
FSA is a common employee benefit that allows individuals to set aside pre-tax income for healthcare expenses not covered by insurance. Infertility treatment is often covered by FSA, but potential patients should speak to their employee benefits coordinator to verify FSA benefits. Any balance left in their FSA account at the end of the year must be forfeited, so potential patients should move quickly if they are considering using FSA funds for infertility treatment.
For more information about this and other programs and treatments available at the Genetics & IVF Institute, potential patients should visit www.givf.com or call 800.552.4363 or 703.698.7355.
Founded in 1984, GIVF is a leading center for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and is the only U.S. infertility center with a genetics division. With more infertility services under one roof than any other center, GIVF offers patients in vitro fertilization, frozen and fresh donor eggs, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, a major donor sperm bank on site and more.
