It is estimated that about 6.7 million women between the ages of 15 to 44 in the U.S. experience infertility or the inability to carry a baby to term. [i]
"Each year, millions of families struggle with getting pregnant," said Justin Rauschkolb, Manager of Product Promotions of Ferring's reproductive health unit. "Through our work with Baby Quest, we aspire to help some of these patients build and grow their families, while also providing hope for others still on the journey to becoming parents."
Ferring and Baby Quest kicked off their partnership at NASDAQ, where Baby Quest co-founder Pamela Hirsch and team rang the opening bell.
"We are so thankful for the generosity of Ferring Pharmaceuticals in donating medication so that our grant recipients can pursue infertility treatment," said Hirsch. "Their donation allows us to continue our work of increasing public awareness of the condition of infertility and of providing financial assistance to those who cannot afford the high costs of fertility treatments."
