Fenergo Strengthens North American Presence with New Senior Vice President
Fenergo appoints Stan De Schepper as SVP of North America and opens new office in Boston, MA, to serve expanding client base and accelerate growth
BOSTON, January 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Fenergo, the award-winning provider of Client Lifecycle Management solutions for investment banks and capital market firms, has today announced the appointment of Stan De Schepper as a new SVP of Americas in a strategic move to further penetrate the North American market.
As SVP of North America, De Schepper will be responsible for developing Fenergo's business with financial institutions in the US and Canada, as well as serving the growing number of clients in the region. The company has also announced the opening of a new office in Boston, MA, and plans to open a new sales office in New York in the coming weeks.
De Schepper originally joined Fenergo earlier this year in the capacity of non-executive director. A proven innovator and serial entrepreneur with 15 years' experience in financial technology, De Schepper has developed state-of-the-art software solutions for global Tier 1 financial institutions as Chief Architect for Norkom Technologies, a leading provider of financial crime and compliance solutions for financial institutions, prior to its acquisition by BAE Systems in 2011. During his time with Norkom, he played a pivotal role in scaling the company to over 400 employees across four continents. Stan joined Norkom from Data4S, a company he co-founded in 2000, which was acquired by Norkom in 2004.
Marc Murphy, CEO of Fenergo, said, "I am absolutely thrilled to welcome Stan to our executive team to spearhead our efforts in North America, which represents a key growth market for Fenergo. With his in-depth knowledge of financial technologies, particularly in the compliance, data and onboarding space, Stan brings a wealth of experience and unique know-how to the team and our clients. I have no doubt, based on his previous experience in Norkom and Data4S, that Stan will help Fenergo cement its position as market and thought leader and will play a crucial role in Fenergo's continued success in North America."
Commenting on his appointment, De Schepper said, "With a proven track record of winning new named clients and an ability to maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, Fenergo understands the complicated issues facing financial institutions today; issues like regulatory upheaval and uncertainty, siloed entity data and documentation and manual onboarding processes that take weeks and months to onboard new clients. I am proud to head up the North American division of this great company and look forward to working closely with our clients and team to deliver solutions that will make regulatory compliance, data management and new client onboarding lifecycle management even easier for financial institutions."
