Dr. Florin completed her undergraduate training at Duke University and earned both Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from Columbia University in New York. She remained at Columbia for six additional years of residency training in general surgery and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Florin was selected as the 2016-17 Cosmetic Surgery Fellow at Inland Cosmetic Surgery, a competitive 12-month position that is extended to only one applicant per year and provides extensive training and experience in all aspects of cosmetic surgery. Surgeons who wish to apply for candidacy in the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery must successfully complete such a fellowship, making the position highly sought after on a national level.
