FEMA and the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes Present Free Ready Business QuakeSmart Workshops
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Sept. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The nonprofit Federal Alliance for Safe Homes (FLASH)® and FEMA are accepting registrations for the free Ready Business - QuakeSmart disaster preparedness workshops in Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
The workshops are designed for building officials, businesses, corporations, engineers, emergency managers, homebuilders, leaders, manufacturers, nonprofits, organizations, policymakers, public officials, risk managers, and small businesses.
The agendas are focused on earthquake hazards and feature a strong lineup of leaders and experts, from FEMA, FLASH, Homeland Security and Emergency Management, National Weather Service, Pearce Global Partners, Safe-T-Proof, Simpson Strong-Tie, Small Business Administration, and many more.
Attendees will receive streamlined business continuity planning and mitigation project plans with simple, step-by-step instructions to help reduce risk and protect employees, clients, customers, and communities. The workshops include a free networking session luncheon.
