"The activity inside the beltway plays a critical role in the health of U.S. businesses and in this election year, CFOs and other senior financial executives are closely monitoring public policy developments," said Marie Hollein, President and Chief Executive Officer, Financial Executives International. "We are pleased to be able to collaborate with our local chapters to provide important updates to business leaders and offer a forum for further collaboration. Chicago is one of the largest business districts in the U.S. and also has one of our largest chapters, and we are pleased to be able to partner with them on this inaugural regional event."
Following the kick-off in Chicago, additional events are planned for Dallas and the Bay Area in 2012 and 2013. FEI previously hosted the 2010 and 2011 "Washington Policy Conference" in Washington, D.C. which were one-of a-kind forums for business and government thought leaders to network and discuss the most prevalent issues and updates in policy and regulation.
The event is open to FEI members and business professionals interested in gaining inside-the-beltway perspective and insight into the complex policy questions facing senior financial executives today.
