FEI Announces Call for Speakers for 2014 Summit Leadership Conference

MORRISTOWN, N.J., Dec. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Financial Executives International (FEI), the association of choice for CFOs and other senior-level finance executives, today announced that it is accepting speaker proposals for its 2014 Summit Leadership Conference on June 2-3. FEI is currently seeking experienced speakers on a variety of topics relevant to today's senior-level financial professionals including leadership strategies, and issues related to technical accounting and finance, digital technology corporate governance, enterprise risk management and corporate compliance.

FEI's Summit Leadership Conference, which will take place at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD, is an annual gathering of more than 800 CFOs, VPs of finance, treasurers, controllers, and internal auditors from around the world for dynamic leadership discussions, networking and valuable workshops addressing the challenges and opportunities facing financial executives.

The deadline for all proposal submissions is December 31, 2013. All interested candidates are invited to submit a proposal to the FEI website that includes a bio and description of the desired topic and subject matter expertise. Proposals submitted on behalf of interested candidates will also be accepted if accompanied by proper contact information for the candidate. Service providers are requested to provide a current practitioner with whom they will be co-presenting.

All proposals will be evaluated by FEI's Summit Leadership Conference Advisory Council in early January and invitations will be issued to the selected speakers between January 20 and 24.  The council will evaluate proposals based on several criteria, including speaker experience, ability to share best practices and suggested innovative tactics for implementation, and ability to address issues critical to the finance and accounting profession. Those individuals selected to speak at the conference will also receive full complimentary registration for the conference.
