MEMPHIS, Tenn., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- A judge in United States District Court in Memphis today issued an order requiring a child care center located on Stage Road in Memphis, Tennessee, that had been using the names "Bright Horizons Academy," "Bright Horizons Learning Academy" and "Bright Horizons" to stop using the "Bright Horizons" name effective immediately. The center on Stage Road is not affiliated with Bright Horizons Family Solutions®, the national leader in high-quality child care and early education which holds the registered trademark to the Bright Horizons® name.

The child care center on Stage Road in Memphis had been illegally using the trademarked name despite having been repeatedly advised and warned against it, beginning months before the center opened in February 2010.
