SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Some of the genre's greatest minds are coming to FEARNET.com, with the exclusive series of films from "The Vault," highlighting 10 free-to-view films from five of horror's most influential filmmakers in Dario Argento, George Romero, Lucio Fulci, William Lustig, and Gary Sherman. Beginning Thursday, January 23, and continuing through Thursday, March 27, a new film will be uploaded each week, giving fans the ultimate grindhouse experience, whether they are at home or on the road. Additionally, viewers will have the option to watch the films in "The Vault" with special on-screen guest commentary made exclusively for FEARNET by an eclectic blend of genre experts and insiders.
The commentaries feature actors Ted Raimi (DRAG ME TO HELL), Amber Benson (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER), Derek Mears (FRIDAY THE 13th), and A.J. Bowen (YOU'RE NEXT); filmmakers Mike Mendez (BIG ASS SPIDER), Drew Daywalt (CAMERA OBSCURA), and Dave Parker (THE HILLS RUN RED); and journalists Brian Collins (BADASS DIGEST) Rebekah McKendry (FANGORIA), and Ryan Turek (SHOCK TILL YOU DROP), serving up their unique views in a picture-in-picture format in the upper-left corner of the screen.
