FDA Clears VITROS® Automation Solutions from Ortho Clinical Diagnostics

RARITAN, N.J., Oct. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (Ortho), a global leader of in vitro diagnostics, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has cleared its VITROS^® Automation Solutions for use with Ortho's VITROS^® Chemistry, Immunodiagnostics and Integrated Systems, allowing U.S. clinical laboratories using VITROS^®  Automation Solutions to improve results throughout every phase of diagnostic testing, now and into the future. VITROS^® Automation Solutions will be available for purchase in the U.S. starting October 2016.

VITROS^® Automation Solutions is an open platform – both expandable and adaptive – that provides laboratory clinicians the flexibility to run and grow their labs in exactly the manner that works best for them, even as needs change over time.
