FCCA + Cruise Shipping Miami = Opportunities for Success
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla., Feb. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) will offer numerous networking opportunities for cruise industry executives and stakeholders during Cruise Shipping Miami (CSM), March 10-14, 2014.
Partnering with UBM Live—the organizers of Cruise Shipping—for nearly a quarter-century, the FCCA has always sought to optimize this valuable time of business partnership creation and renewal, product promotion, idea cultivation and tackling of the industry's dynamic issues.
It does this by bringing together the industry's partners, especially FCCA Platinum Members, together with key decision makers—cruise executives, presidents and/or CEOs from FCCA Member Lines—to link those doing and/or seeking cruise industry business with those deciding where ships go and what is sold onboard.
The start to FCCA events during CSM is the annual barbeque, taking place at FCCA President Michele Paige's residence and offering Platinum Members and cruise executives a chance to gather, catch-up and discuss business and personal matters prior to the start of a hectic week.
Organized events, such as exclusive cocktail receptions with Platinum Members and Member Line representatives hosted by Proexport Colombia and the Port of St. Maarten, will take place throughout the week at FCCA's booth (#695). These have proven to be the perfect way to promote a destination or product to FCCA members, cruise line representatives and the whole show's audience sneaking a peak of what has drawn such a prestigious crowd.
Private meetings between cruise executives and partner destination governments will also take place in the booth during the week, maintaining a steady stream of decision makers from the cruise lines and industry stakeholders.
The FCCA's premier event of the week will be the Gala Dinner and Entertainment Extravaganza, taking place on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Sponsored by Port Everglades and PortMiami, the Gala will offer a unique opportunity to interact with the FCCA Member Line cruise executives, presidents and CEOs serving as dinner and evening hosts for a night complete with a 90-minute cocktail reception, silent art auction—featuring artwork from Park West Galleries—and a dinner that seats attendees with a cruise executive of their choice.
The FCCA's closing event, the Official Cruise Shipping Miami Reception, will take place at LIV—the hottest nightclub in Miami. This much-anticipated reprieve after a week of meetings, receptions and business sessions will let you put your hair down for a fun night with some of the cruise industry's most important decision makers.
CSM is slated to offer participants the forum for success, and the FCCA lets you maximize these opportunities. All CSM attendees are encouraged to stop by the FCCA booth (#695) to learn more about its offerings, such as marketing opportunities to spotlight you in FCCA events and publications distributed to all sectors of the tourism industry, along with a membership program that can give a calling card to Member Line representatives by fostering working relationships through events like these and much more.
