Faurecia Announces New Toledo Facility, Creation of More Than 100 Jobs
TOLEDO, Ohio, July 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Faurecia Interiors, a global manufacturer of automotive interior systems with North American headquarters based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, announced plans today to open a new production facility in Toledo, Ohio.
The new facility will create more than 100 new jobs and officially begin production activity in April 2019, ramping up to full production within a few months. Faurecia will make an estimated investment of $11 million to begin operations in the 73,000 square foot plant.

The project is still contingent on final approvals at the state and local level. Faurecia plans to manufacture and assemble full instrument panels using the latest technologies in the proposed facility. The company currently employs more than 750 people in Ohio at its Clean Mobility facilities in Franklin, Toledo and Troy.
