"Today's jobs report is another signal of progress in a week of good economic news. In November, the private sector added 196,000 jobs, marking the 45th consecutive month of private sector job growth, while the unemployment rate fell to 7.0%, the lowest in five years.
"The November jobs numbers exceeded expectations, the manufacturing index skyrocketed at the fastest pace in 2.5 years, and apartment construction is at a 5-year-high. Coupled with an upward revised GDP growth of 3.6%, these are strong indicators that we are moving our economy forward."
