Fathom Events And STX Entertainment Create One-Night Ultimate Fan Experience For "Hardcore Henry" On April 7 In 350+ Movie Theaters

BURBANK, Calif., March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- STX Entertainment has partnered with Fathom Events to create the ultimate fan event for the release of Hardcore Henry, the unflinchingly original action film which will debut nationwide on April 8. "Hardcore Henry: The Ultimate Fan Experience," will take place on April 7 in more than 350 movie theaters nationwide at 7 p.m. local time, and was jointly announced today by Oren Aviv, President and Chief Content Officer for STX Entertainment's Motion Picture Group, Kevin Grayson, President of Domestic Distribution for STX Entertainment's Motion Picture Group, and John Rubey, CEO of Fathom Events. 

Fans who purchase tickets to the special one-night event will also be privy to an exclusive Q & A with writer and director Ilya Naishuller and star Sharlto Copley (District 9, Maleficent, Chappie) which includes questions supplied by fans. In addition, attendees will receive a special limited-edition collectible Hardcore Henry comic book.

Fans interested in participating in the special screening and Q & A will have a chance to tweet their questions to the film's writer/director Ilya Naishuller and actor Sharlto Copley using the hashtag #HardcoreFan before March 13, for the opportunity to have their questions answered on screen during the one-night event.

Hardcore Henry was selected by the SXSW Film Festival to be a headliner premiere event this month. 

Tickets for "Hardcore Henry: The Ultimate Fan Experience" can be purchased online beginning Friday, March 11 by visiting www.FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices. Fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in more than 350 movie theaters.
