FatCloud Announces New Board Member From Microsoft
Industry veteran Charlie Di Bona joins board of directors
LOS ANGELES, March 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- FatCloud, the developer of a NoSQL database for Windows users called FatDB, today announced that Charlie Di Bona, most recently general manager of strategy and M&A at Microsoft, has joined the FatCloud board of directors.

Di Bona was general manager of strategy and M&A for Microsoft's Server and Tools Business (STB), where he was responsible for developing an outside-in perspective and influencing strategies across the division. He led strategy and execution of STB's acquisitions of PhoneFactor (multi-factor authentication) and StorSimple (cloud-enabled storage) and facilitated the team that helped frame a relationship with Hortonworks (Hadoop/big data).

He received an A.B. in economics and an MBA from Harvard University. Di Bona also serves on the board of Boyer Children's Clinic in Seattle.
