CHICAGO, Sept. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fastweb announces its sixth annual Student Contributor series, a program where student writers provide insightful articles and share their unique student experience. Fastweb (www.fastweb.com), a member of the Monster network, is the leading website for scholarship and financial aid information.
The initial articles from the Student Contributors team focus on timely topics for all student levels that include; managing class schedules, what to know as a college freshman, setting high school goals, preparing for the SAT & ACT and more.
"Each year we look forward to the relevant insight our Student Contributors bring to their articles," said Mark Nelson, Vice President of Product Management at Fastweb. "Our focus is to provide students with important tools and information to meet their college objectives. Students can genuinely benefit from the experience of their peers when navigating the many decisions related to their education."
In June, Fastweb began conducting outreach to extend the opportunity to apply for the 2017-18 Student Contributor series to all its members. Applicants were required to provide a brief personal summary, as well as a 250-word writing sample on a topic relating to their experience with the scholarship, financial aid or admission process. The 2017–18 Student Contributor team was selected from the many talented writers who applied. Here is this year's team:
