Fast-growing startup VideoNitch reaches key milestones in corporate e-learning marketplace
Lands new Fortune 500 clients, hires key industry veteran and announces funding from Cramer
NORWOOD, Mass., April 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- VideoNitch, a fast-growing e-learning startup, announces that it has received a significant investment and established a formal partnership with Cramer, one of the nation's largest creative studios. Additionally, VideoNitch expands their leadership team by hiring key industry veteran and former VideoNitch customer, Ed Flahive. After a successful 22-year career as vice president of Global Learning & Development at State Street, Ed joins VideoNitch as their Chief Learning Officer.
"For business leaders, the challenges are well known. They need to manage the corporate bottom line within a global footprint while realizing the way people learn is dramatically changing," commented Ed. "The VideoNitch solution validates the proven research that people learn best, not through dense text-based documents, but by being presented information in more bite-sized chunks that rely heavily on video to make a meaningful impact."
In just two years, VideoNitch has launched a propriety software platform that enables companies to efficiently establish and populate their own branded, secure e-learning video channels. Over 25 companies, including Staples, Fidelity, State Street, and Caterpillar, and hundreds of thousands of employees are now using the platform.
With the infusion of capital and partnership with Cramer, VideoNitch will continue to enhance its market-leading software, make additional hires, and onboard new customers. Cramer, with over three decades of content creation experience, will enable VideoNitch to produce even more sophisticated and engaging interactive learning assets.
"e-learning is currently a $60 billion/year market that is slated to grow exponentially in the coming years," said Thom Faria, CEO of Cramer. "Over the last three decades, Cramer has delivered marketing and content solutions for some of the world's most respected brands. We have seen, first hand, the challenges facing corporate learning and development teams."
"By partnering with VideoNitch, we will both be able to more effectively deliver to the needs of today's global workforces," continued Thom. "Together, we are on track to be the leaders in the ever-growing e-learning market."
