Fast-growing startup Solebrity inks lease for space in One Loudoun, plans to double staff.
ASHBURN, Va., Feb. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Fast-growing social commerce startup Solebrity (pronounced so•leb•ri•ty - combining the words "social" and "celebrity") has inked a deal for a 2,300 square-foot space in Loudoun County's new downtown – One Loudoun, and in turn tripling the space at its previous location - a starter garage in Ashburn, Virginia.
"We outgrew our garage space and One Loudoun was a great fit," says, Solebrity CEO, AJ Jaghori. "This entire area is going through a big tech revival right now, and we are excited to be a part of that," Solebrity plans to stay in One Loudoun, with plans to double staffing in 2015.
Solebrity promises to revolutionize "social shopping" (the intersection of social media and online shopping – a la Facebook meets Amazon), starting with a vision to create a marketplace where people can turn their friends, family and followers on about the products they love and receive a reward when someone buys it. Solebrity is set to launch in the spring. The company is currently accepting limited reservations for early access to the mobile app. Consumers can reserve their spot for the VIP launch at www.solebrity.me. Jaghori says, "Solebrity will be a 'game changer' and promises 'a special shopping experience for early adopters.'" Since launching the early reservation system, Solebrity has signed thousands of users and hundreds of brands.
