MONETT, Mo., April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ:JKHY) is a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry. Its Jack Henry Banking™ division announced today that Farmers State Bank has selected its Core Director® core processing system to provide enterprise-wide automation. This South Dakota-based bank, which has more than $135 million in assets, will implement Core Director through Jack Henry Banking's outsourced offering.
According to Scott Bormann, president of Farmers State Bank, "We are a family-owned community bank that has been in business since 1919. We pride ourselves on providing competitive financial solutions backed by outstanding personal service. Knowing that it takes the right technology platform to offer relevant and contemporary financial products and services and to support our service standards, we made the forward-looking decision to implement Core Director. We expect material efficiency improvements with the deep integration of Core Director and the ancillary solutions, and we anticipate expedited speed-to-market with new offerings. We are also extremely excited about Jack Henry Banking's state-of-the-art Internet and mobile banking solutions and the enhancements they will make to our Internet banking channel. We are confident that the functionality we will soon have at our fingertips coupled with Jack Henry Banking's client-driven enhancements, and the scalability of this Windows®-based client/server solution position Core Director as a long-term platform for our bank. Another important factor in our decision process was finding a technology partner that shares our service-driven culture and has the proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience."
Stan Viner, general manager of sales for Jack Henry Banking, said, "This bank thoroughly evaluated our core and complementary solutions and discovered that we have the technology for their known and anticipated needs. But we believe Jack Henry Banking was ultimately selected by Farmers State Bank because of what differentiates us in the community and mid-tier bank markets we serve – outstanding, consistent service delivered by highly trained people who genuinely care about the customer. Although we systematically track and trend our service levels with comprehensive annual surveys and more than 80,000 online surveys that rank how we handle day-to-day service requests, this bank took a unique, hands-on approach to evaluate our service culture before deciding to become a customer. Mr. Bormann contacted our call center, reached one of our frontline support representatives, and interviewed her about our service philosophy and infrastructure and what we do day-in, day-out to generate service levels that consistently exceed our clients' expectations. We pride ourselves on the service we provide and respect this bank's initiative to experience that service firsthand."
In addition to Core Director, Farmers State Bank will initially implement an array of Jack Henry Banking's complementary solutions including NetTeller Online Banking™; goDough® mobile banking; the jhaPassPort™ ATM and debit card transaction processing platform; components of the Synergy™ Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution; and the 4|sight Item Imaging™ platform.
