LAS VEGAS, May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmer Boys® Restaurant is celebrating Cinco de Mayo this year, on Saturday, May 7th, 2011, in style and with a special mission in mind. According to the Franchise's owner, Jimmy Philippou, "This first annual event is to promote and bring more awareness to a wonderful charity. Our plans are centered on one goal; to raise as much money as possible for the March of Dimes of Las Vegas." Farmer Boys® Restaurant is sponsoring this first annual Cinco de Mayo Charity Car Show event at their 4450 N. Lamb Avenue at East Craig Road location from 10:00am to 4:00pm this Saturday. This fun-filled extravaganza will be hosted by the Desirable Ones Car Club of Las Vegas as promoted by Low Rider Magazine. Hector Leyva, the President of the Car Club, expects this event to be one of the biggest happening around Las Vegas this weekend. He stated that over 100 cars with models from the 1930's through 2000's, will be at the show and he wants everyone to stop in and enjoy, judge and reminisce. The first 50 cars to show up will receive a stuffed goodie bag filled with surprises. The judging of all cars present will start at 11:00am and culminate at 4:00pm with awards and the announcement of the day's winners. All donations will benefit the March of Dimes.

In addition, Farmers Boys® will have mouth-watering, 99 cent Hamburgers, from 11:00am to 12:00 Noon and $5.00 combo meals which include a 22oz fountain drink and fries all day long. Family fun and kids activities with face painting and balloons will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A commemorative Collector's Limited Edition T-Shirt will be available for $15.00 each as well as the opportunity to take a chance in the event's 50/50 Charity Raffle.
