Fannie Mae Executive Vice President to Address The Houston Forum
HOUSTON, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ken Bacon, Executive Vice President, Housing & Community Development, will address The Houston Forum and discuss Fannie Mae's (OTC Bulletin Board: FNMA) emergency response and efforts to assist housing recovery following the Katrina, Rita and Ike hurricanes.
A Houston native, Bacon will provide attendees a thoughtful assessment of rebuilding efforts from the perspective of the nation's largest investor in housing. Bacon will also discuss how the housing sectors in Texas and the Gulf Coast have recovered following these natural disasters and what business lessons have been learned that can expedite the recovery of housing in the wake of future disasters.
In addition to leading Fannie Mae's emergency hurricane response, Bacon was also responsible for managing $78 billion in mortgage and other investments related to recovery from the storms.
