Travelers can choose from a variety of Eurail passes and country-specific passes to customize their trip to meet their travel needs:
- New for 2015, up to two children between the ages of 4 and 11 can travel for free with an adult on the Eurail Global, Eurail Select, Regional Eurail and One-Country Eurail passes. With over 25 different pass options and unlimited rail travel in up to 28 countries, Eurail makes flexible travel a reality.
- Families traveling with kids under the age of 16 in Switzerland can book a Swiss Travel Pass and save with the Swiss Family Card, which allows children 6 to 15 years of age to travel free when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The card is free, simply request one at the time you purchase your Swiss Travel Pass.
- The German Rail Pass offers a free child discount, with up to two children ages 6 to 11 traveling free of charge with each adult.
- For several BritRail Pass products, one child ages 5 to 15 can travel free with an adult on a BritRail Family Pass. All additional children ages 5 to 15 will receive a special reduced rate. This offer applies when using a standard BritRail Pass, a BritRail England Pass and a BritRail South West Pass.**
