Family Research Council Fellow to Join Panel Discussion at Pennsylvania Leadership Conference

WASHINGTON, April 14 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Family Research Council Senior Fellow and Director of the Marriage and Religion Research Institute (MARRI) Dr. Patrick Fagan will participate in a panel discussion at "2010 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference: Taking Back our State and Nation" at 10:30 a.m. EDT on April 17 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Harrisburg, Pa. The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference, one of the largest gatherings of conservatives in the state, will be held April 16 and 17.

The Pennsylvania Family Institute will host a panel entitled "Marriage and More," chaired by their president, Michael Geer, with Dr. Fagan as one of the panelists. Other panelists include Pennsylvania State Senator John Eichelberger and Randy Wenger, chief counsel for the Independence Law Center.
Fagan will address the foundational role of chastity in a robust society and illustrate the implications of habits of lust on the economy, education, health and mental health. Fagan uses data to illustrate the intense competition between a civilization based on marriage and worship and an anti-civilization which is determined to undermine both despite the implications for society.
