Fall is Fun in Fairfax County!

Fall Foliage

Enjoy the breath-taking vistas as Virginia's trees make their change to a vibrant mix of red, gold and orange at Great Falls National Park (www.nps.gov/grfa) where the Potomac River builds up speed and force as it falls over a series of steep, jagged rocks and flows through the narrow Mather Gorge. Fairfax County is also a short day trip from the scenic Shenandoah National Park and its famous Skyline Drive (www.nps.gov/shen).  Stop along the way to enjoy the award-winning wineries of Virginia wine country, or pick your own apples at one of the many groves along the highway.
