Faithful+Gould Makes Major Impact with 70th Anniversary Volunteerism Effort

NEW YORK, July 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading integrated project and program management consultancy, Faithful+Gould (www.fgould.com) is pleased to highlight the success of the firm's 70^th anniversary volunteerism effort. The premise of this initiative was to have each of its 12 teams, comprised of employees from offices across the Americas, contribute 70 hours of community service within 70 days, totaling 840 hours. At the close of the 70 days, Faithful+Gould had contributed more than 1,225 hours of service in their local communities.

It is thanks to a robust response from staff that the company far exceeded expectations and gave back to more than 40 charities and service groups across the United States, Canada and Brazil.

"When we launched this initiative, we wanted something that could both commemorate our anniversary, and help to improve the quality of life for those in the communities in which we live and work," said President and Managing Director Reza Amirkhalili. To meet their goal, employees engaged in a wide variety of charitable efforts. Some of the charities and groups the teams supported include Rosie's Place Food Bank in Boston, MA; the American Heart Association in New York, NY; Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, D.C.; North Loop Association in Minneapolis, MN; FIGHT in Chicago, IL; Goodwill in Houston, TX; Orange County Coastkeeper in Los Angeles, CA; Special Olympics in Portland, OR; Habitat for Humanity in Calgary, Canada; Providenciando Foundation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and many more.
