Faith Family Freedom Fund's Ad Asks Senator Heitkamp to End Funding to Planned Parenthood

WASHINGTON, Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A new digital ad campaign is launching in North Dakota today by the Faith Family Freedom Fund; the Super PAC connected to Family Research Council Action (FRC Action). The PAC ad calls on Senator Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.) to "stop funding Planned Parenthood with taxpayer dollars" and redirect those funds to the clinics in North Dakota that aren't scandal ridden.

FRC Action President Tony Perkins made the following comments:

"We have an obligation to educate Americans about life in the womb and the horror of what's taking place in Planned Parenthood centers. While Americans are divided over abortion, we see common ground quickly forming to ensure Americans aren't forced to send their tax dollars to an abortion giant that sifts through aborted babies' parts to see which organs can be salvaged and sold. Trafficking baby body parts is only the latest scandal for an organization that also faces allegations of covering up sex trafficking, engaging in sex selection abortion, and even violating the law criminalizing partial-birth abortion.

"You don't have to be pro-life to be horrified by undercover videos suggesting Planned Parenthood manipulated the abortion procedure to yield the most marketable baby parts – increasing the risk to women. It is time for Senator Heitkamp to act and end the flow of tax dollars to Planned Parenthood," concluded Perkins.
