Faith Comes By Hearing Expands Audio Bible Library to 674 Languages ... and Counting!

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH) has added seven new language recordings to their catalog of Audio Scriptures this month.  Combined, these seven languages represent more than 1.7 million people who now have God's Word in audio available in their heart language.  The new releases are:

• Kayah, Western – Myanmar
• Lunda – Zambia
• Mentawai – Indonesia
• Samoan – Samoa

These recordings are possible because of the dedicated work and partnership of many translation ministries and Bible Societies around the world.

FCBH's comprehensive catalog of Audio Scriptures now features a total of 674 languages, but that total changes regularly with new additions every month.  Notably, New Testaments in 92 languages have been added in just the last 12 months.  Spoken in virtually every country in the world, these recordings as a whole represent a potential outreach to more than 5 billion people – or in other words, two-thirds of the world's population.

Faith Comes By Hearing offers free access to these Audio Bibles through streaming, downloads and podcasts, while the Bible.is app for iPhone, iPad and Android devices offers access to God's Word right from the palm of your hand.  Already the world's largest resource of digital Bible text and audio, this unprecedented access via the Digital Bible Platform continues to expand rapidly.
