Scotsman Guide Releases Top Originators 2010 Rankings

NEEDHAM, Mass., April 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation is pleased to announce that Amy Slotnick was ranked #83 in the nation's top 100 originators by Scotsman Guide.

Scotsman Guide, the leading resource for mortgage originators, released its second annual Top Originators rankings on April 1. The list, which ranks the nation's top mortgage brokers, originators and bankers, appears in Scotsman Guide's April 2011 residential edition, with additional rankings online at scotsmanguide.com/Top2010.

Amy was ranked among the top mortgage professionals across the country. To be eligible for initial consideration in Scotsman Guide's Top Originators rankings, originators must have had at least $30 million in loan volume or 100 closed home loans for the 2010 calendar year. Only loans and volume that originators closed personally could be considered. After receiving submissions, Scotsman Guide required written verification of top entrants' volume from a certified public accountant, the chief financial officer at the originator's company or a similar source.

In 2010 Slotnick closed 222 loans for a total volume of over $82,000,000. Amy has been in the mortgage industry since 1983 and has experience in every facet of the mortgage business including operations, sales, management and ownership. She is proud to be among the few loan officers that have obtained the CMPS designation. Amy believes that customer service is the key to success in the mortgage industry.
