Goodman recently met with a customer who had inherited a coin collection and uncovered two significant rarities: The 1907 High Relief Saint-Gaudens $20 gold coin, with only 12,367 struck, and a rare 1801 $10 Draped Bust gold coin were recently graded by PCGS at the ANA coin show in Pittsburgh. The coins received grades of MS64 and AU53, respectively, and are worth roughly $60,000 in their certified condition. Exceptional examples of these coins can be worth more than $1.2 million combined - showing how proper identification and preservation can make a life-changing difference in the value of an old coin collection.
