Taking place at Birmingham's NEC from 14-16 May, Facilities Show 2013 is set to experience another phenomenal year with more exhibitors, visitors, interactive sessions, learning and networking opportunities than ever before.
MITIE, the FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing company, will have a considerable presence at this year's event, with an interactive stand on the show floor as well as participating in networking, industry discussions and seminars across all three days of the show.
John Telling, corporate affairs director at MITIE, said:
"We are delighted to be partners of Facilities Show 2013 and look forward to building our relationship over the coming years. We are excited to have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with our industry peers and explore smarter ways of working in FM, both now and for the future."
MITIE will host a workshop in the newly launched BIFM Networking Hub on Wednesday 15 May, focused on the future of facilities management.
The session, co-hosted by Marketing Doctors, will discuss the results of a research programme commissioned by MITIE in early 2013 which aimed to better understand the issues and opportunities faced by senior property and facilities directors in the UK. Participants of the session will receive a copy of the full research findings to take away with them.
MITIE will also make a keynote address at the event addressing 'Fresh thinking for the future of FM'. The session will focus on the FM landscape in 2020 and how technology and connectivity will impact on the sector.
More than 350 exhibitors are expected at Facilities Show 2013 covering the full suite of FM services. The event will also play host to a range of education sessions, including seminars, workshops, and industry debates, along with a theatre dedicated to CPD accredited content.
Fergus Bird, Event Manager for Facilities Show, said:
"It is an outstanding testament to the reputation and success of Facilities Show that we have so many great companies onboard again for another year. It is wonderful to be working closely with MITIE as we know that it is important for our visitors to be exposed to the full spectrum of FM, from single service to integrated capabilities."
As part of Protection & Management Week, Facilities Show 2013 is co-located with the leading annual safety and health event, Safety and Health Expo and the world's largest annual security event, IFSEC. In 2013 FIREX International will also be co-located.
