Facebook Specialized Risk Investigations Expert To Join Sentinel Resource Group As Managing Director

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sentinel Resource Group, a leading protection risk management advisory and solutions firm, has appointed Scot Walker as a Managing Director. Walker will be based at the company's headquarters in Silicon Valley and will oversee a variety of public and private sector client programs and investigative matters.

Walker previously held various protection and risk management roles in NVIDIA's Global Security and Legal functions, and most recently worked in a specialized investigations unit at Facebook conducting a wide array of risk and content investigations across Facebook's global platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Oculus).

Before entering the private sector, Walker's professional experience spanned law enforcement, investigations and intelligence-related posts including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations where he focused on protective operations, human smuggling, counter-narcotics, counterintelligence and a variety of other special task force initiatives.
