Eyes on the Go, Inc. Partners with Leading Web Technology Providers to Support its Live Broadcast Network
BROOKLYN, N.Y., March 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Eyes on the Go (Pink Sheets: AXCG) has partnered with a number of leading technology providers for its new live streaming web service, including Wowza Media server, Amazon S3, Route 53, and a custom-built encoder communication platform that Eyes engineers have dubbed "Fox".
EOTG will be using Wowza Media Server 3.0 as the backbone for its new streaming service. WMS is the platform of choice for many leaders in the streaming industry, including Livestream, EarthCam, and TVW. Wowza provides powerful, multi-threaded software that enables Eyes on the Go to stream a wide variety of live video formats and fits a broad range of end-user clients: from PCs, to tablets, to smart phones. Eyes on the Go has also used Wowza Media Server's Java development environment to create secured Pay Per View streams that are encrypted using Wowza's DRM tools (which prevents the unauthorized viewing and downloading of live streamed performances) and then recorded and stored in EOTG's servers for later playback.
EOTG is also utilizing the Amazon S3 hosting environment to store its library of recorded Pay-Per-View events and Amazon's Route 53 DNS management service to efficiently manage its extensive infrastructure of encoding devices located in hospitality venues throughout New York City.
EOTG's encoding devices run the company's custom-built "Fox" communication software. Fox enables the encoding devices to auto-configure in any network environment and establish secure connections to Wowza servers without the need for human intervention or manual tech support. The software also enables Eyes on the Go tech support to manage its entire network of remote video capture and encoding devices from our corporate offices, utilizing a single web interface, adjusting video quality and streaming settings instantly at the touch of a button. Fox, combined with EOTG's custom-built encoding hardware, allows EOTG to stream standard definition video at a fraction of the hardware and setup cost of traditional encoding/streaming solutions.
