NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On the heels of reporting seven consecutive years of strong growth, today, Ernst & Young LLP announced two key leadership appointments to help continue its market focus and consulting practice growth. Bob Patton, former Americas Vice Chair of Advisory Services, has been named Americas Vice Chair of Accounts. Patton will be succeeded by Hank Prybylski, who previously served as Americas Advisory Performance Improvement (PI) Leader.
"Bob spearheaded the growth of Americas Advisory for the past decade, helping EY clients improve performance, manage risk and transform industries," said Stephen R. Howe Jr., Ernst & Young LLP Chairman and Managing Partner and EY Americas Managing Partner. "During this time, he grew Americas Advisory from $1.5 billion in revenue with 6,000 consultants to $4.9 billion in revenue and 16,000 consultants and oversaw more than 25 strategic acquisitions. As Americas Advisory continues its strong growth trajectory, Hank is uniquely suited to continue to propel our consulting practice forward. His experience in solving big, complex industry issues, combined with his skills in delivering outcomes that help our clients grow, optimize and protect their businesses will be critical as companies transform their business models and industries."
In his new role, Patton will lead the growth strategy for EY in the Americas, working with all areas of the organization to manage and help grow key accounts in all markets in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, and Israel. In doing so, Patton will be responsible for engaging and motivating 71,000 Americas personnel to drive top line growth to propel the EY brand and market leadership.
"The EY multidisciplinary professional services model is a major differentiator and key to future growth and I am thrilled to help propel our organization to new heights of market leadership," said Patton. "My purpose has always been to serve the needs of our clients and our people, and I see no better opportunity to do so than in this new role."
Based in New York City, Prybylski brings more than 30 years of experience serving top-tier institutions within the financial services industry to his new role. In Prybylski's previous role, he led 7,000 consultants who helped clients transform their customer, supply chain, finance, technology and operations. With Prybylski at the helm, the PI practice posted market-leading growth over the past several years, including an 18% increase in FY17. As EY Americas Vice Chair of Advisory Services, he will now oversee more than 16,000 professionals within the $5 billion consulting practice in the Americas.
"This is an exciting time for the EY consulting practice, as client demand for connected solutions is on the rise. I look forward to leveraging my experience serving several of our largest and fastest-growing accounts to drive transformative change for our clients," said Prybylski. "Our competitive edge is integrating our diverse suite of offerings with our culture of connectivity, innovation and collaboration, which EY member firms do better than anyone."
Patton received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Georgia and has participated in the Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He has been recognized for excellence in leadership by Consulting Magazine. Patton is also a LinkedIn Influencer and has written extensively on the topics of leadership, purpose and innovation.
Prybylski holds an MBA in finance from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University and a BA in Economics and Accounting from the College of Holy Cross.
