Extreme Biodiesel Announces Appointment of Noteworthy Entrepreneur, Joe Spadafore, to President and CEO of Extreme Biodiesel
CORONA, Calif., April 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Extreme Biodiesel (Pink Sheets: BRKM) is pleased to announce that the Company has appointed Mr. Joe Spadafore as new Chief Executive Officer, Corporate President, and Chief Financial Officer in anticipation of imminent developments and potential acquisitions.
Former CEO and President, Richard Carter has resigned on good terms effective Tuesday April 2, 2013 in pursuit of other endeavors, leaving all corporate positions open; including President, CEO, CFO and Board Member. Joe Spadafore has been appointed as of April 3, 2013 to fill the positions of President, CEO, CFO and Treasurer.
On November 29, 2010, the Board of Directors appointed Joe Spadafore, to the position of Corporate Secretary and Treasurer. Joe has had extensive experience in business and multi-million dollar real estate transactions. Among his achievements in that industry, Joe had been ranked in the top ½ percentile of all Prudential California Realty agents nationwide; specializing multi-million dollar residences which he endeavored in for 17 years. Joe has employed and supervised up to 15 agents, and also owned a number of retail liquor stores for several years, while simultaneously working as a police officer and hostage negotiator for the City of Los Angeles; where he served for 15 years.
As part of his focus on ecological commercial development that enhanced his real estate practice, Mr. Spadafore became disenchanted with the American dependence on foreign oil, the funding of American problems overseas and the effect on our economy. In 2007, he decided to turn his attention to eliminating these problems and co-founded Extreme Green Technologies. Mr. Spadafore has been managing the marketing, sales and over-all general operations of Extreme Green Technologies. He has successfully negotiated contracts with numerous restaurants and food manufacturers for the collection of waste vegetable oil and brown grease interceptor/grease trap services. The brown grease interceptor/trap business provides EGT with additional cash flow and additional waste oil accounts. Mr. Spadafore has also been effective in negotiating projects such as a key agreement with an existing algae oil production company that has successfully tested algae oil for use in biodiesel.
"I am pleased to be able to serve Extreme Biodiesel in these capacities, and I am looking forward to being a key contributor to the propelling of the Company to the forefront of the industry through the potential acquisitions and developments that we have embarked on and foresee in the near future." stated Joe Spadafore, Corporate Secretary of Extreme Biodiesel.
