EXTOL International Extends Momentum from Record-Breaking 2012 into New Year
Product Release, Expanded Partner Network and Internal Leadership Team Growth Fuel Record Sales Revenue
POTTSVILLE, Pa., Feb. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- EXTOL International, a leading provider of e-business integration software and services, today released significant performance figures from its 2012 results, highlighting the unprecedented sales and partner network growth the company achieved this past year.
The August release of the latest version of the company's flagship EXTOL Business Integrator 2.6 (EBI 2.6) solution, featuring an Integrated Pattern Repository™ (IPR) to automate the most time-consuming and expensive aspects of data transformation mapping, enabled EXTOL to increase EBI sales by 62 percent from 2011, boosting overall software sales by 44 percent.
In addition to notable software growth, the increasing interest among target audiences to test managed services either on-premise or in the cloud elevated EXTOL's managed services revenue by 20 percent from the previous year.
"The changing nature of the integration and overall technology landscapes in 2012 required EXTOL to be flexible like never before, and doing so enabled us to help more customers experience seamless integration across multiple avenues," said Tony Baran, president and CEO of EXTOL. "The enhancements to our EBI solutions, along with expanded, customizable managed services packages, make it easier for our customers to navigate the most complex elements of B2B automation, and we look forward to improving our software and services further in 2013."
EXTOL's record growth in 2012 is highlighted by:
- New Customers Come Onboard: EXTOL's ongoing enterprise expansion drove a 58 percent increase in new customer acquisitions from 2011. Among the prominent businesses that turned to EXTOL for comprehensive integration tools are Burlington Coat Factory, Barrier Safe and Farner-Bocken.
- Customers Expand Trust: EXTOL nearly doubled its business partner sales rate from last year, generating significant revenue through expanded service agreements with existing partners, including TMW Systems, Retalix and Corning Data.
- Building its Vision: EXTOL enhanced its leadership team with proven B2B integration technology experts throughout 2012 to expand awareness and capabilities for its core solutions. Joshua and Matthew Baran, sons of company founders Joseph and Tony Baran respectively, assumed the roles of Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, EXTOL added Jim Albright as its new director of marketing, and promoted Michael DeCosta as its new vice president of sales.
- A Market Leader: EXTOL was named to Software Magazine's 30th annual "Software 500" list for the sixth consecutive year in September, placing the company among the world's largest software and service providers. The company's Secure Exchange 5.4 (ESX) encryption and authentication solution was certified AS2 Interoperable by the Drummond Group for the eighth consecutive year.
"The valuable insight we received last year from both our new-look leadership team and partner network helped us understand how we can improve our offerings even further this year," added Tony Baran. "While 2012 was a banner year for EXTOL, we are confident that 2013 can be even better, and we anticipate our advancements will help our customers achieve their integration goals faster and more securely."
