HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Oct. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- LINE-X – a global leader in powerful protective coatings and renowned spray-on bedliners complemented with first-rate Truck Gear by LINE-X accessories – storms into the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas with a high-profile lineup of extreme vehicle builds and celebrities that challenge show goers to #ExtendYourLimits.
EXTREME CREATIONS. INDUSTRY FIRSTS.
- Polaris Concept DAGOR®: Coated with LINE-X ULTRA, the DAGOR® Ultra-Light Tactical Vehicle is coming to SEMA highly customized as a first-ever concept build for recreational use. The LINE-X DAGOR® features several machined body parts to include all new doors, roof, custom fabricated tailgate and other parts and accessories. Usually only in the possession of the United States Department of Defense and international allied nations, this concept build is the only one of its kind on display at SEMA – making for a first, exclusive look opportunity.
- LINE-X Widebody Raptor® – Featuring a highly customized, color matched LINE-X ULTRA exterior coating (smoother texture, added durability and UV protection) over completely machined quarter panels, fenders, hood, grill and tailgate, this 2017 Raptor creation is already considered a top contender for SEMA's Battle of the Builders (BOTB) competition. The monstrous machine also features all-new, prototype Truck Gear by LINE-X bumpers, side steps and other components to round out the build.
- Robbie Maddison KTM Water Bike – Nobody knows how to extend limits like legendary Freestyle Motocross stunt rider, James Bond stunt double and X-Games gold medalist, Robbie Maddison. With a resume filled with incredible feats, viral videos and world-records, he brings his KTM 450 SXF dirt bike – that has been engineered with a front ski to allow it to "ride" on the surface of the water. After more than 500 hours of engineering and testing, he perfected the design which has allowed him to enter the record books again as he conquers monster waves all over the world. Robbie will be available for autograph signings and media interviews on Tuesday from 12 to 4 PM in the LINE-X Booth #34113.
- Summit International Service Truck – Summit Bodies joins LINE-X for the first time at SEMA to feature their show-stopping, fully restored 1973 International 1700, equipped with a 707HP Dodge Hemi Hellcat engine and one of its signature service bodies coated in LINE-X. The powerful protective coating – used on several surfaces of the service body and its compartments, the truck's interior and engine bay – demonstrates how LINE-X extends limits on vehicle life by protecting critical components against some of the harshest conditions experienced by service professionals all over the world.
BATTLE OF THE BUILDERS.
- Kenny Pfitzer, Zero to 60 Design Studio owner and famous for past work as the build master on exceptional vehicles like the LINE-X Tundra and GTT from the 2016 SEMA Show, led the custom SEMA builds for LINE-X and four total Battle of the Builders entries – showcases the power of LINE-X's virtually unbreakable, color customizable protective coatings. In addition, stylish new Truck Gear by LINE-X accessory concepts and prototypes – fabricated by Pfitzer – are highlighted on LINE-X builds.
DIESEL POWER.
- Kenny Pfitzer and Robbie Maddison will be joined by the much-celebrated DieselSellerz, as seen on the Discovery Channel's wildly popular Diesel Brothers show, at the LINE-X experience. Heavy D and Diesel Dave will celebrate their everyday use of multiple LINE-X coatings to armor some of their most beastly truck/off-road vehicle builds for both protection and highly customizable style touches.
"The extreme protection delivered by LINE-X's lineup of coatings has always been the essence of the LINE-X brand," said Dennis Weese, president of LINE-X. "It's that virtually 'unbreakable' quality that inspires an extreme lifestyle. Whether someone takes on the elements in a battlefield-tested all-terrain vehicle, challenges the elements in a fully customized Raptor sprayed in ULTRA and outfitted with Truck Gear by LINE-X accessories, battles daily wear and tear in a work truck or rides waves with a motorcycle – LINE-X truly extends the limits of what's possible. We're excited to celebrate that in a massive way at SEMA this year."
