ExpressJet pilots vote to ratify contract extensions
ATLANTA, Feb. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ExpressJet Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW), announced today that the company's pilots have voted overwhelmingly to ratify two-year contract extensions to our existing agreements. The agreement provides many improvements for our pilots, including:
- First year pay rate of $37-40 per hour, pending equipment type
- $1.85 per hour per diem on date of signing, increased to $1.90 per hour on date of signing + 18 months
- Raises at all pay scale rates
- An enhanced profit sharing program that guarantees $1,000 per pilot for 2016 and $1,500 per pilot for 2017

The agreement runs through February 2018 and covers all of ExpressJet's nearly 4,000 pilots.
