ST. LOUIS, Sept. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Express Scripts Holding Company (NASDAQ: ESRX) today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Roderick Palmore to fill a vacancy on the Board.
Mr. Palmore serves as executive vice president, general counsel, chief compliance and risk management officer and secretary of General Mills (retiring February 2015). He joined General Mills in 2008 from Sara Lee Corporation, where he served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary.

Mr. Palmore was also previously a partner in a large national law firm as well as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois. He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
Mr. Palmore received the Corporate Exemplar Award from the National Legal Aid & Defender Association in 2007, the Spirit of Excellence Award from the American Bar Association Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in 2006, the Scales of Justice Award from the Equal Justice Works Foundation in 2005 and the Excellence in Corporate Practice Award from the Association of Corporate Counsel in 2003. He holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Yale University.
He will serve as a member of the corporate governance committee of the Express Scripts Board of Directors.
