And while the largest privately-held staffing company in North America is busy matching job seekers with employers, the company is also setting aside a day of volunteerism known as "Brand It Blue Day."
On Saturday, June 8, Express Employment Professionals offices from California to North Carolina to Canada will join together at local food banks and pantries across North America to help fight hunger – a growing epidemic that impacts millions of people in the U.S., Canada and around the world every day.

Express franchise owner Mike Hefner, in Indianapolis, has teamed up with the local Softball Lassie League to help fill a Living Bread Food Pantry truck full of necessary items. Another office trying to reach their goal of filling a pick-up truck full of non-perishable food items is in Rocky Mount, N.C., where the local Express representatives are donating to the Christian Fellowship Homes Food Pantry. In Redding, Calif. Express has teamed up with The Good News Rescue Mission to donate necessary food items to feed the hungry. On the other side of the country, Express in Warwick, R.I. has teamed up with the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and has already collected more than 37 Express tote bags and 24 boxes full of food. Due to the success of the Brand It Blue campaign in the greater Providence area, the local Warwick office has extended the food drive through the summer. Another successful campaign is taking place in the South Bend and Elkhart, Ind. areas where local Express offices are working with the community to donate food items to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
Nationwide, 187 Express Employment Professionals offices in 37 states along with five offices in Ontario will participate in Brand It Blue Day.
