Explain Everything to Release Major Update to Classic iOS App
NEW YORK, June 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Explain Everything will introduce a major update to the features, interface, and pricing of the original app for iPad. The "Classic" version of Explain Everything was first released in 2011 as a one-time purchase and download in the App Store. The application will continue to be available as one-time purchase for iPad and iPhone with continued support for all of the existing features. Additional features included with the free update will include: draw fill, improved eraser, advanced color picker, collaborative session viewer, and favorites in the web browser.
Along with these new features, a white interface will replace the previous black UI. The one-time purchase price of Explain Everything will increase to $9.99, and Classic users will have the option to upgrade to subscription features. The full Explain Everything experience continues to be available as a free trial (separate app) and with the option to subscribe.
"This is our biggest update ever!" says Piotr Sliwinski, co-founder of Explain Everything. "This is a totally new app, written from scratch, that until now was available only in a subscription model. All the classic features of the original Explain Everything will continue to be available for existing users. I'm looking forward to see new projects made with the new app!"
Explain Everything will feature expanded drawing and erasing tools. Use the new draw fill tool to connect drawn lines and fill them with color in one tap. Users will also get colors just right with a new eyedropper tool and an option to enter the HEX/RGB of a desired color. An updated eraser, now permanently placed on the Toolbar, can erase parts of previously completed drawings, fills, and images.
Sharing your screen is now easier than ever. Presenter mode has been redesigned, so users can disable toolbar visibility while using an external screen. Users can also join a collaborative session as a viewer. A new zoom mode is also included in the update that allows users to move around the canvas while recording and it won't be registered on the timeline.
The new update will be available in the App Store. Please visit www.explaineverything.com for more information
