Gene is a veteran in the field of performance contract and energy project financing with an extensive background in developing customized financial solutions for state and local governments, educational and healthcare institutions as well as water and waste treatment facilities and local school districts to enable the implementation of both energy savings measures and renewable generation capabilities. Gene has been focused on energy and municipal finance for more than 25 years. In addition to SFS, Gene was previously employed by Citicapital and Hannon Armstrong. Gene is a graduate of the University of Florida and he, his wife Debbie and their four children currently reside near Athens, Georgia.
